Project Barack Obama

How to conquer High Competition Key-words such as Barack Obama

Yesterday we have started with a high profile project targeting a popular name key-word and a very competitive niche: Barack Obama.

This Project shall demonstrate the power of our publishing strategy and tools and the path to profitability through conversion of search traffic and bookmarks.

The First Step:

  1. Yesterday we have registerred the domain barak–obama.com with http://yorgodom.com for $12.95
  2. Then we have bought 1 year unlimited hosting for $35 from http://chihosters.com
  3. Then we have loaded a WP base script to our server. We use version 2.5, not the most recent version 2.5.1 as on WP 2.5.1 some features we use are missing and we need some time to compensate this lack by modifying our own scripts. (No cost)
  4. We loaded the most recent script from The Magic Search Traffic Formula (The Price ios not yet fixed for this brand new edition).
  5. We quickly did some basic configuration on the site and added a header and then started looking for content.
  6. We went out to get some great contributors and are proud to get content from Google, CNN, CNBC and some other high profile sources such as…YORGOOpublishing.
  7. As I am writing, after 18 hours the site has 622 articles in 7 categories and it's growing by the hour.
  8. We have created related categories for Hillary Clinton and John McCain.

More to follow…enjoy and have a look at http://barak–obama.com *

* PS: Note the spelling of Barak in stead of Barack will not matter as we can tweak the performance of the word using our synonyme tweak for the purpose of search engines and bookmarks :-).
