At last we found him: the ideal marketing target, the model customer, the dream of every marketer, the ghost haunting the neurons of marketing strategists, the symbol of wishful thinking for many and a dream that came true for some! 

No, it's not Jo the Plummer, who remains a phantom, since his name is not Jo and he is no Plummer. Jo may well turn out to be John's (McCain that is) worst nightmare while our model Customer is real. Real for sure. Promised.

Let me introduce Harry the Model target; in fact Bianca Gubalke has featured him already in her earlier article and a clear evolution since our last Ycademy Seminar becomes visible.

The seminar Harry, was just a normal prospect. The new Harry is THE Harry, the Harry of all Harries, the model Target, the ideal Customer everyone wants to meet the one every one wants to be found by.

Can you see the enthusiasm, the joy because he has found your site, the urgent desire to get your product and to pay you for it? That's the ideal target and that's what we aim when we talk about targeted marketing. It's not just a matter of key-words, it a matter of a mind-set of those who type in the key-words.

And it's a matter of how well the marketer can center his own mind on that customer's mind to produce the most mind blowing results. Customer centered marketing and targeting. Yes, but which customer?

There are various targets you can aim and whatever you aim you usually can just approximate it. But the center of gravity of your targeting must remain Harry!

The ideal visitor to your site is a person who is ready to buy, who has made up his mind, who has an urgent desire to get the result your product is producing.  If you get it slightly wrong, you still get people who may be close to that buying decision but it's already much less sure that you close the deal.

If you just get visitors who need information, info-tourists, it's unlikely you get a sale. Traffic is not Traffic as we learn in YORGOO.

What is it really that makes Harry stick out?

He is decided to buy and he wants it now!

How did Harry get there? How come Harry wants to buy that Louis Vuitton Handtasche beige or Handbag or Purse?

That's the big mystery, isn't it? In fact it is simply because someone or something pre-sold the result and benefits of your products to Harry!

Example: Harry's wife wants for Christmas that Louis Vuitton Handtasche beige or Handbag or purse that is sold on your DubLi Auction site. Obviously, Harry will not think twice and his wife will get that Handbag. That's decided, pre-sold to Harry by the wife and then it becomes an urgent desire for Harry to get the item while he can get a good deal.

Harry is a normal guy, he goes like any normal guy to Google and types in what any normal guy would type in and that is: Exactly what his wife told him!

Get the point? It's easier to target women, that way you get it 75% of the time right, and that is when you target women as well as 50% of the time you target men as men type in what the wife tells them to type in in at least 50% of the cases. (Try to digest this one over the week-end:-)).

So, if a man was looking for a purse, a woman would call it a handbag with some additional specifications. As I told you, get into women's mind-set and you will do better in product marketing, …just ask your wife!

Once you have profiled your Ideal customer and the mid-set and the key-words, you need to deliver your ad to exactly that target on Google.

Then you go to the beach, while Harry finds your ad and buys the item on the Auction site. Marketing has two aspects, pull and push (See our article Marketing: DubLi Home Business II); we are looking here at the most essential pull strategy: get your site on Top of Google under long and short tail key-words interested people actually type into the search box.

  1. How duplicable is the process? In theory infinitely except like with Google AdWords: when many people from the same network aim the same key-words there comes the moment, when fellow networkers compete against each other for the top 10 or 20 positions. That's the limit. It leaves some room, but in fact, that's not true. For the time being we limit the out put of Semiomantics Scripts to 50, considering that it will give everyone an equal chance to reach top 10 positions without internal competition.

  2. How easy is the use of the system? Once the CMS set-up and the semantic framework configured and customized, it can be used like most any CMS or WP blog. May be some training about how to blog may be necessary for beginners, who may want to understand the idea behind the keywords, indexing, listing and the logic and semantics of Google in as much as that is possible.

  3. What can be achieved? I would guess we can occupy 30-50% + space on relevant keys.

  4. Why does not everyone do this? One day they will…but by that time we hopefully are again a step ahead :-). When everyone does the same, you end up getting replication or traditional duplication; Google eliminates replicates. We try to duplicate results and call it dublication; it works on any product, any key-word but not by replicating and multiplying replicated websites.

FAQ: DubLi Marketing for DubLi Networkers

In a recent article about DubLi Home Business Marketing we have started talking about targeting and we have received a few mails and comments about the issue which I will try to answer here. More about DubLi network related Marketing.

How to use pull and push marketing strategies to market DubLi with a blog?

While Blog posts and static Pages enter the category of pull marketing, RSS feeds are Push Marketing tools, as are news letters and other such like instruments.

 

How to target DubLi Product Customers and Networking Customers from a single website?

Is DubLi using a single website? - No. So, why should you? The profile, target Markets are largely different and therefore the key-word sets are different and the semantic framework of your site should ideally be adapted to the target you wish to deliver your message to. You would probably use 2 different sites, whereas in the case of DubLi you may consider using 3 for the time being. In fact, DubLi EU is different from DubLi USA. On top of it DubLi EU for the time being uses only German headers even in other language versions such as Spanish, English and so on. I suppose, sooner or later we get full multilingual sites and not just translations of the content. Check out the English DubLi site: It's coded as English while the header content is in German. The German site is encoded as being English and the header content is German as well. Watch out for the evolution of the site as there are frequent changes.

 

How to optimize DubLi online Marketing considering the German Headers? 

Two possibilities: write to DubLi support about the issue or adapt to reality. in as much as I am concerned, I adapt to reality. The German header tag content give us a USP in other language environments we can use to our advantage. However, you then most likely want to use a second target page, framing your DubLi referral page and load English headers into that frame page.

 

How to target cold online markets for DubLi Networking?

Good question :-). In fact you don't target anything.It's your prospect that targets, or looks for you. The decisive elements are what the prospect is searching for, and that's where YOU have to be found! Your blog posts and pages are pull features, that means they need to be positioned right when the prospect is passing; you cannot run after people, people run after you as you have something they want: that's the essence of pull marketing strategies.

 

How many websites do you use to market DubLi?

I use basically 3 different sites: Dublicator for Authority, YORGOOpublishing for Home Business Opportunity and Fun-shopping for Products.

We have just started to publish about DubLi about a month ago, starting with the Authority blog. About a week ago we started testing product targets and in as much as the Home Business Opportunity is a going concern as our business is Traffic, Lead Generation,  Screening and Conversion in a generic way. 

My advice would be to use a home business related pull site and  site to target product key-words in order to be reachable by those who are looking for the products on offer on DubLi Auctions.

Once these sites are in place, use pull and push strategies to promote your sites.

How many sites do I really use? I will not tell you. Just know: the goal is to use as many as possible and therefore the promotion of your content sites is of paramount importance. Efficient Publishing strategies are taught at Semiomantics Courses and Ycademy Seminars or built in to Semiomantics Site scripts (I only use Semiomantics Scripts :-)) which automate largely the publishing process, increasing the audience and visibility on search engines, key-word based directories and social networks.

 

How to train DubLi Networkers?

Don't train DubLi Networkers, as DubLi is and will be providing an advanced online Training System, the DubLi Academy. Still confused by YORGOO?

Every day I get asked, "so whats it all about, I don't really understand?" "why use YORGOO?" "where do I do this?".  So…

Let's take it from the top.

You have a business right? something you promote online that will make sales and bring you money? am I right in assuming this, otherwise you would not have joined YORGOO; or perhaps you're just looking around  trying to find something you can get your teeth into?

YORGOO is about bringing vistors to YOUR business - visitors are traffic. The more traffic you have the more likely you will end up making a sale at the end of the day.

Just think, in the offline world, how many people go by a store - look in the window and move on. How many people come in a store and go out empty handed. Not everyone buys, and not everyone buys seeing something first time.

The same applies online.

Statistics show that: You need tons of TRAFFIC to make 1 sale, and I mean hundreds of visitors daily. Lots of exposure!

You have just signed up and logged in. You browse around, see that on the menu on the left there are many items from Traffic Programs to making calls, hmmm. Looks interesting! Some things here that I need to help me grow my home business.

When you join YORGOO we recommend a few basics:

QUICK START [on the right]

1. Download your YORGOO Media Toolbar to keep in touch with the latest info, recordings, developments, team alerts. Thats it! No spyware. Some extra gadgets on the toolbar you can click away in the setup if you don't want to use them.
 
1a. Send a Mail to your Sponsor and introduce yourself:
 
Why?

Your sponsor has been working hard promoting and building traffic, you are his brand new lead. If he is following the YORGOO Team way he/she will send you a Welcome mail and try to call you if you have left a 'good' tel no.
He/she already have some experience of the system and you have joined YORGOO due to his/her efforts. Send a mail, he/she would love to hear from you and will help you, and help you build your traffic.

How?

scroll down on the menu in your back office until you see - EMAIL UPLINE - click and there send your message.

NOW, Everything you see at present in your YORGOO backoffice belongs to your sponsor. So we need to change that.
 
2. Enter your Business Link:

Where?

again scroll down the menu till you see YOUR Business - click - there in the white space add YOUR business link of the business YOU promote.

Why?

When you  get serious and start to promote your YORGOO referral link/url when people sign up under you, your downlines when they look around YORGOO they will see YOUR business there. If they like what they see they may even join you or ask for more information.

To the left of the white space you see MY PREFERRED BUSINESS - click on the words there, you can now see which business your sponsor is promoting. Interested in what you see? Send a mail to your upline with a request for more information. You now know how.
 
3. Register with all free programs under Traffic 1 and promote your YORGOO link only:

OK. This appears to be a little more tricky but once you have signed up once, the same principle applies in all the other sign ups.

Why sign up?

It's all about driving traffic to YOUR website, your business.

So why use YORGOO?

You obviously have a very specific business you want to build or make sales from. But, its not neccessarily to everyones taste and your site just gets clicked away, otherwise  everyone would be signing up and your business would explode. Time and effort wasted.

However, what if you had something a that is more generic to attract sign ups, something that many people look for online eg: FREE Leads and Free Traffic? of course then you will have more sign ups.

And what if by promoting just 1 link, you can show your new sign ups the 'many' things that you are involved in: traffic programs, safelists, your business etc.

YORGOO is like a department store! lots of goodies inside.

Now any sign ups you get these sign ups are your LEADS. Real optins! Not secondhand or third hand generated leads, but people who like you look for leads and traffic. Now you  have something in common to talk to them about. Common ground for communication. WUUHUUU! now you are talking. No cold calling in YORGOO. These  sign ups ARE interested in what you have.

A problem?

As a FREE YORGOO member you only see names of people in your downline and their id#, but this will change. Upgrade to PRO and its a different ball game. You  see id#'s, names, email and tel.no. Real live optins worth their weight in gold. Now you send them a welcome mail and do the follow up. Its up to you where you lead them.

Everything you see at present in your YORGOO backoffice still belongs to your sponsor. We need to change this so it ALL belongs to you.

Let's Start!

So: click on TRAFFIC 1:

Scroll down till you see the first listed Traffic exchange - HIT GUSHER - click on the words HIT GUSHER.

This takes you to your sponsors Hit Gusher site. Join under your sponsor.
Your sponsor will get a commission in the form of credits for your sign up. For every member you sign up you will get the same.

Hit Gusher will send you your own unique id# number for the program.
Enter this id# into the white space next to Hit Gusher in YORGOO. Go to the bottom of the page and hit UPDATE.

Follow the same proceedure for the other exchanges, but, don't try to do them all in 1 day, spread it out - step by step.

Some of the exchanges in YORGOO have their own video tutorial - where you see Y-TUTORIAL click on it - you will see a short video to show you how.

We only promote your YORGOO link/url which you find under REFER & PROMOTE on the menu. Only add this link to the traffic exchanges you sign up with.
In the traffic exchange find the 'SURFING' and start.

By the way, in the exchanges you must go to Allocate credits = each site you surf gives you a credit for doing so. These accumulated credits you send to your YORGOO link so that people view your site and those who look for leads and traffic will sign under you.

Once you get the hang of this you will soon find yourself following the Daily Tasks [on the menu] and the team surfing plan. Practice makes perfect, so just practice daily. You will soon have sign ups and start to build your Team and your business.
